Job Description:

Are you an enthusiastic and committed KS1 teacher ready to inspire and nurture young learners? A welcoming primary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a Key Stage 1 Class Teacher from September 2025 to lead a class and contribute to the wider school community. You'll be part of a vibrant, supportive team focused on delivering a broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum.

This role would suit an organised and reflective professional who is passionate about pupil development, confident in managing a classroom and experienced in collaborating with colleagues, parents and external agencies.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
Create a purposeful, caring and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress regularly.
Maintain discipline and safeguard the wellbeing of all pupils.
Coordinate a core subject and contribute to whole-school development.
Communicate effectively with parents, staff and external agencies.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with KS1 teaching experience.
Strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to plan for all abilities.
A commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and high standards of pupil welfare.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
Experience working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
Reflective, proactive and enthusiastic about continued professional development.
