Position: Registered Manager
(Children's Residential Home)
Location: Walthamstow, Greater London
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum

About the Role
We are an Ofsted-registered provider with a strong track record in supporting young people. As part of our expansion, we are opening our first children's home and seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead and develop the service.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, develop, and manage the children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Oversee the development and implementation of individual care plans.
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and UK safeguarding legislation.
Foster a nurturing environment for both staff and children.
Recruit, manage, and support a dedicated team, promoting professional development.
Liaise with external agencies, families, and stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for children.
Essential Requirements
2 years' experience within the last 5 years in children's residential services.
1 year experience supervising or managing staff.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to start within 3 months).
Strong knowledge of The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people.
Ability to commute to Waltham Forest, Greater London.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (on-call duties required).
Preferred Requirements
Experience managing a home with a "Good" or "Outstanding" Ofsted rating.
Understanding of Therapeutic Practices and PACE.
