A welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Putney is seeking a dedicated full-time Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs (SEN) across the school.

The Role:

Supporting individual pupils with additional needs (including autism, speech and language needs, or behavioural challenges)

Working 1:1 or in small groups under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO

Helping pupils access learning, build confidence, and meet their individual targets

Assisting with classroom tasks, resources, and behaviour management

Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting

A calm, patient and nurturing approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A genuine interest in child development and inclusive education

Available to work full time (Monday to Friday)
