Our client, based in Hemel Hempstead, are a specialist in the production and distribution of greetings cards, gifts, gift packaging, balloons and partyware both online and on the high street through their network of retail stores.

With exciting growth plans in place, they're now looking to add to their production team in the form of a Litho Print Minder. As part of the ongoing training and development available in this role, you will receive full training and support on the company's BRAND NEW Komori Lithrone G40 advanced 5 colour press with coater, which is due to be installed this Summer.

If you're technically minded and currently working on an older litho press and are keen to expand your knowledge on newer technology, whilst advancing your career and skillset in a state-of-the-art facility, this could be the opportunity for you!

The Role:

Operating the Heidelberg CD102 6 colour + coater (and later the Komori press)

Completing work as per the schedule provided via their MIS system

Completing work to Company agreed standards in a timely manner

Ensuring that all production equipment that you use is regularly maintained and record sheets completed

Adhere to Health and Safety standards

Assist with training and supervision of other team members

Undertaking any training on additional machinery where required.

The Candidate:

Experienced litho press minder, with knowledge of Komori presses highly advantageous

Thorough, strong attention to detail with a pro-active, problem-solving attitude

Organised, hardworking and flexible

Team player

Mature, responsible, and methodical approach

Ability to work quickly, accurately, and safely

Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.

Salary & Benefits:

This is a full time, permanent position working 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, however some flexibility is expected around these hours.
