About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver a major earthworks and ground engineering project in the Norwich area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has strong site management capability, and can confidently steer complex civils packages from planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day management of earthworks operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

*

Coordinate with engineering teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.

*

Maintain strict compliance with CDM regulations, H&S protocols, quality standards, and environmental requirements.

*

Produce and manage project documentation including RAMS, progress reports, and programme updates.

*

Manage cost control, schedule tracking, and risk mitigation strategies.

*

Lead site meetings and provide clear communication across all project stakeholders.

Requirements

*

Proven experience managing earthworks or heavy civils projects.

*

Strong understanding of excavation, cut & fill, ground stabilisation, haul routes, and associated temporary works.

*

Excellent organisational and leadership skills.

*

Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple work fronts effectively.

*

SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), First Aid desirable.

*

Strong reporting and programme management capabilities.
