Job Title: Management Accountant - Renewables
Location: Central Belt, Scotland (Hybrid working - 2 days office / 3 remote)
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 + benefits

AJ Connect is partnering with a leading renewables business to recruit a Management Accountant for their UK-based finance team.

The role offers a mix of FP&A, group IFRS reporting and commercial analysis, perfect for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make an impact in a fast-paced, future-focused industry.
  
The Role
You will work closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team, providing financial insight, preparing budgets and forecasts, and supporting group consolidation and reporting.
  
Alongside the technical accounting work, you will help develop financial models and tools that directly support decision-making at a global level.
  
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and KPI dashboards for senior management
Support group IFRS reporting across multiple UK and North American entities
Assist with consolidation, eliminations, and group reporting processes
Prepare journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
Support internal and external audits with accurate working papers and schedules
Build and maintain financial models to improve forecasting and analysis
Reconcile inventory accounts and support manufacturing finance processes   
About You:

Part-qualified CA, ACA, ACCA, or QBE with strong relevant experience
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and the ability to apply it in practice
Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools or ERP systems desirable
Experience in a listed or complex multi-entity environment advantageous
Organised, analytical, and comfortable managing competing priorities
