Location: Lichfield Road Industrial Estate, Tamworth
Pay: £13.25 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday | 07:00 - 16:00
The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Trainee Tank Erector to join our client's site installation team. This is a great opportunity to learn a skilled role within a growing business, working on installations across the UK.
Job Overview
You will assist with the erection of GRP sectional water tanks, working from drawings and layout plans. The role involves installing internal components such as ladders, access hatches, and connections. This is a hands-on role involving working at height, using power tools, and travelling to various sites nationwide.
Key Duties
Using hand and power tools (drills, wrenches, grinders)
Working at height on installation projects
Assisting with installation of GRP water tanks and internal components
Travelling to sites across the UK (overnight stays required at times)
Working closely with the site installation team
Liaising with the warehouse manager and warehouse team
Keeping records updated and maintained
Carrying out any other duties as required
Requirements
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Comfortable working at height
Flexible to travel and stay away when required
Good work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work as part of a team
