Hydraulic Hose Technician - Branch/Trade Counter Based

Working hours: 8:30am-4:45pm (Mon-Thurs) 8:30am-4:15pm (Fri)

We are currently seeking a practical, hands-on Hydraulic Hose Technician to join our branch-based team. This is a customer-facing role working on the trade counter and in the workshop, helping customers with hydraulic hose assemblies, fittings, and general hydraulic components.

As part of a close-knit and supportive team, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the branch, offering technical advice, assembling hoses to specification, and delivering great service to our loyal customer base across industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, marine, construction and more.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assembling and testing hydraulic hoses to customer specifications

* Supporting walk-in customers at the trade counter with technical advice and product selection

* Managing stock levels and processing orders through internal systems

* Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely fulfilment of customer needs

* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

* Contributing to a positive team culture within the branch

About You:

* Hands-on, mechanical mindset with an interest in hydraulics or fluid power

* Comfortable working in a technical trade counter/workshop environment

* Previous experience in hose assembly or similar mechanical role (additional training can be provided)

* Good communication and customer service skills

* A proactive, reliable team player who enjoys solving problems
