Job Description:
An outstanding SEN secondary school in Greenwich is looking for flexible and committed Supply Teaching Assistants to join their team on a day-to-day basis, supporting students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced SEN support staff who enjoy flexible work or are looking to gain further experience in a specialist education setting. You'll be joining a highly supportive, skilled team focused on providing the best possible care and learning environment for students with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Support students aged 11-19 with a range of PMLD and complex needs, including physical disabilities and sensory impairments.

Provide personal care and support with mobility, feeding, and medical routines (training can be provided).

Follow tailored learning and care plans under the guidance of the class teacher and therapy teams.

Contribute to a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment.

Be flexible and able to adapt quickly to the needs of each class or student.
Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly PMLD or complex needs.

Comfortable with personal care and manual handling duties.

Calm, patient, and resilient approach with a positive attitude.

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

Availability for short-notice, same-day bookings is a strong advantage.
