Reed Further Education are a leading recruitment agency working with colleges, prisons, universities, and training providers across the UK. We are looking for someone who has experience of working with young people and / or adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Tutor for Learners with Additional Needs

Reed Further Education are working with a charity which provides a range of educational, residential and medical services to support adults and young people with complex needs, including learning disabilities, epilepsy and autism.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the skills, confidence, ambition and independence of young people on their journey into adulthood.
Requirements;
- Teaching qualification, such as PGCE or equivalent, with QTS
- Experience as a teacher of learners with complex and multiple disabilities
- Extensive experience of working with young people, in education, and individuals with SEND/Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities.
- In-depth understanding of the specific issues relating to the education of people who have learning difficulties/disabilities, sensory, physical impairments or other specific learning difficulties.
- DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply for one.
