KBB Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a forward thinking kitchen company who are looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover the South East.

Salary: £40,000, £55,000 (DOE), £65,000 OTE, plus company car or car allowance.

Covering: South East - Kent, Surrey, Berkshire, East Sussex.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a well-nurtured patch with some healthy accounts. You will be tasked with looking after and growing existing accounts, with an element of new business involved in the mix.

Key responsibilities:

· Building and developing new and existing relationships with kitchen retailers and merchants.

· Calling upon retailers and merchants, presenting kitchens with the intention of securing showroom displays orders.

· Presenting new products, new colours, and promotional offers.

· Acting as primary point of contact for retailers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling from competitor brands.

· Conducting regular visits, business reviews and performance analysis.

· Collaborating with internal teams, marketing, management, etc.

· Growing network by identifying and engaging with new potential kitchen retailers/merchants.

· Staying updated with industry trends and market developments.

Candidate Requirements:

· Proven track record within field sales - selling business to business within the KBB industry.

· Existing relationships with kitchen retailers and merchants (very beneficial).

· Excellent technical understanding of kitchens and kitchen design.

· Sound retail sales account management experience.

· Strong communication and presentation skills.

· Self-motivated, driven, enthusiastic and pro-active.

· Ability to work under pressure and solve problems.

· Ability to demonstrate a tenacious and resilient mindset.

· Be able to manage time and priorities effectively.

· Proficient with MS packages such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

· Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

· Full UK driving licence (essential).

· Flexible with business travel requirements.
