We are seeking experienced and passionate Substance Misuse Recovery Workers to join their dynamic multidisciplinary team and make a meaningful impact in the Bristol community.

The Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to provide tailored support to service users, helping them overcome addiction, rebuild their lives, and reintegrate into the community.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify service users' needs and create personalised recovery plans.

* Deliver one-to-one and group support sessions, including harm reduction advice and relapse prevention strategies.

* Work collaboratively with health professionals, social services, and community organisations to provide holistic care.

* Maintain accurate records and monitor service users' progress in line with organisational standards.

* Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes recovery and personal growth.

About You

Our client is seeking individuals who are passionate about supporting people through their recovery journey. You will have:

* Experience: Proven experience in substance misuse, mental health, or a related field.

* Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with service users.

* Knowledge: Solid understanding of substance misuse issues, harm reduction, and recovery models.

* Qualifications: Relevant qualification in health, social care, or counselling (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) is desirable.

* Attributes: Empathy, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
