We are currently recruiting for a Welder / Fabricator to join a growing and well-established manufacturing company based in Basildon. This is a permanent position offering excellent long-term opportunities in a well established business.

This role would suit someone early in their welding career who is looking to gain experience and upskill within a supportive workshop environment.

Location: Basildon

Pay: £16-18ph

Type: Permanent, full time

Hours: Mon - Fri #removed# (Early finish most Friday 3pm)

You will be working with stainless steel to manufacture bespoke commercial kitchen equipment, carrying out welding and fabrication to a high standard.

Duties:

Welding and fabricating stainless steel components
Reading and working from technical drawings
Assisting with the fabrication of bespoke kitchen units and equipment
Maintaining quality and safety standards in the workshop
Supporting the wider fabrication team when required
Skills & Experience

Previous welding or fabrication experience preferred
Experience working with stainless steel desirable
Press brake experience beneficial but not essential
Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
Reliable and motivated with a strong work ethic
