We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, managing payroll data within Workday, and supporting various payroll functions. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll processes, benefit administration, and experience working with related software in a UK-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee full payroll processes across the UK and overseas workers.

  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR and payroll data.

  • Process and verify employee payroll in compliance with UK employment laws and regulations.

  • Coordinate and process payroll in collaboration with our payroll service vendor, ensuring timely and accurate payments for all UK-based and overseas employees.

  • Manage HR data workflows within payroll software and HRIS software including onboarding, offboarding, and employee information updates.

  • Collaborate with our payroll service vendor

  • Support periodic reporting and analytics.

  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and external vendors to resolve payroll or system issues.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK employment laws and payroll legislation.

  • Assist with system testing, updates, and optimization of our payroll software.

  • Provide user support and training related to HR systems and payroll processing.

  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing within the UK.

  • Hands-on experience with Payroll, ERP, and HRIS software.

  • Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and payroll tax regulations.

  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

  • HR or Payroll-related certifications are a plus (e.g., CIPD, Fundamental Payroll Certification).
