Salary: £70,000 - £80,001 per annum

Cyber security manager required for a leading construction organisation based in Chertsey. My client is looking for a cyber security manager to join their team, responsible for looking after 3rd party supplier management, ensuring security policies are up to date. You will also be required to translate IT risk requirements into technical requirements and specifications.

Experience developing metrics for ongoing performance measurements would be ideal, as well as coordinating the organization's technical IT activities to implement and manage security infrastructure.

This role will be 2 days/ week in Chertsey but is also offering hyrbid working opportunities.

Key Skills required:

  • IT management experience with several years focused on IT security specifically.
  • Experience of working with outsourced teams and within cloud architecture.
  • A proven ability to work in a collaborative style, building and developing effective customer and service provider relationships.
  • Ability to work well under common information security management frameworks.
  • Experience overseeing security projects whilst also providing expert guidance on security matters for other IT projects.
  • A strong understanding of the business impact of security tools, technologies, and policies.
  • Experience utilising Microsoft security background tools including Azure and Office 365.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a security program and security projects that address identified risks and business security requirements.
  • Manage the process of gathering, analysing, and assessing the current and future threat landscape, relevant to Crest as a business.
  • Propose changes to existing policies and procedures to ensure operating efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide security communication, awareness, and training for audiences, which may range from senior leaders to field staff.
  • Research, evaluate, design, test, recommend or plan the implementation of new or updated information security hardware or software, and analyse its impact on the existing environment.
  • Coordinate, measure, and report on the technical aspects of security management.
  • Manage outsourced vendors that provide information security functions for compliance with contracted service-level agreements.

Salary:

My client is offering a salary between £70,000 - £80,000 for this position. They are also offering a great benefits package and flexible working opportunities.
