Job Description:
TeachMatch Recruitment is a seeking a passionate and adaptable Teacher of Science for a long term supply position in one of our partner schools in Merseyside for September 2025. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, ensuring students are engaged and learning effectively. Strong classroom management and the ability to quickly adapt to different school environments are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with other staff and contribute to a supportive school culture.
- Provide feedback on student progress as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT
- Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Previous teaching experience is essential.
