Qualified Nursery Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Henley-on-Thames
Start Date: September 2025 (or as soon as possible)
Pay: £89.00-£100.00 per day (depending on experience and qualification level)
Contract: Part-Time, Term Time Only

A welcoming and well-established nursery in Henley-on-Thames is currently seeking a qualified Nursery Assistant to join their friendly team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and enjoys supporting young children in their learning and development.

Responsibilities for the Nursery Assistant:

Support children's learning through play and planned activities
Establish a safe yet explorative and creative nursery environment
Work closely with other staff to follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Build and maintain meaningful relationships with team members, children and their guardians
Assist with feeding and general care routinesRequirements for the Nursery Assistant:

A recognised childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent)
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting, with references
A passionate and caring approach
To work collaboratively with the rest of EYFS teamThis part-time role is ideal for someone looking for a better work-life balance while continuing a career in early years education. Typical hours are mornings or early afternoons, depending on availability and nursery needs.
