We're working closely with secondary schools across Northampton who are looking to welcome motivated, enthusiastic graduates into Graduate Teacher roles from September 2025. Whether you're aiming for a future in education or looking to build experience before applying for teacher training, this is an excellent opportunity to get started.
As a Graduate Teacher, you'll be supporting students in the classroom, delivering pre-planned lessons, and working alongside experienced teaching staff to build confidence and subject knowledge.
What the Role Involves: -
Delivering lessons and supervising whole classes across a range of subjects

Providing small group or one-to-one support to students in need of additional help

Managing classroom behaviour and creating a safe, focused learning environment

Supporting the wider teaching team with planning, marking, and classroom organisation

Gaining valuable school-based experience in preparation for teacher training or education careers
Who This Role is Ideal For: -
Recent graduates with a degree in any subject (core subjects and humanities especially welcome)

Individuals with experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or youth work)

Confident communicators with a passion for education

Future teachers looking to secure classroom experience before applying for a PGCE or SCITT

Enthusiastic, reliable, and proactive individuals with a strong sense of responsibility
