We are currently recruiting for a Forwarding Operator to join our clients expanding Forwarding Department in Redditch.

This role will be handling multi model shipments from start to finish reporting directly to the Forwarding Manager.

Working hours:Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm - Will be office based

Permanent position.

Key Tasks:

* Raising quotations to new and existing customers

* Understanding all customer requirements

* Ensure customers and suppliers are communicated with in a timely manner

* Booking jobs onto the internal transport management system (TMS)

* Handling shipments (import & export) from start to finish Required Skills

* Proactive personality and team player

* Strong communication skills • Attention to detail

* Good understanding of Inco terms and customs clearance

* Minimum of 12 Months experience in a similar roll

* Experience in a freight forwarding role is essential.
