Full-Stack Engineer - Finance Technology

Location: Glasgow (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite)

We're hiring a Full-Stack Engineer to join a high-impact Finance & Regulatory Technology team within a top-tier global investment bank. This team is responsible for building strategic, cloud-first data solutions and modernising legacy platforms that support critical regulatory reporting across the firm.

You'll work as part of a collaborative Agile squad, building scalable backend services and data pipelines while partnering closely with Finance and Regulatory stakeholders. What You'll Do

* Design and build full-stack applications for finance and regulatory reporting

* Develop Java backend services and Spark-based data pipelines

* Modernise existing systems into scalable, cloud-native solutions

* Handle complex datasets and ensure data integrity across platforms

* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and automated testing frameworks

What We're Looking For

* Proven experience in full-stack development

* Strong core Java skills (Scala knowledge is a plus)

* Hands-on experience with Spark or other distributed computing tools

* Familiarity with Azure or similar cloud platforms

* Experience working with relational and/or cloud databases (Snowflake, Sybase)

* Front-end development using Angular or similar frameworks

* Comfortable in Unix/Linux environments

* Agile and DevOps mindset
