About the School:

The Role:
We are seeking a PE teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the PE curriculum, a practical approach to teaching, and the ability to foster positive attitudes towards fitness and wellbeing. There may also be opportunities to contribute to KS5 and whole-school sport initiatives.

Duties Will Include:

Planning and delivering engaging and accessible PE lessons.

Assessing and tracking student progress in line with school policy.

*

Maintaining high standards of behaviour and participation during lessons.

*

Supporting a wide range of extracurricular activities, including after-school sports clubs and fixtures.

*

Contributing to departmental planning and school-wide events (e.g. Sports Day).

Working closely with colleagues to promote health, resilience, and teamwork across the student body.

Who We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in PE or a related field.

Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.

*

Confident in delivering a range of sports and physical activities.

Clear communicator with strong organisational skills.

Able to manage time and workload effectively.

Willing to support the wider life of the school, including clubs and events.
