Our client, a UK based Fintech lender, are looking to make an addtion to their Compliance department with the appointment of a Compliance Analyst.

As a Compliance Analyst, you'll be responsible for helping the company meet their regulatory obligations and manage their operational risks.
Key Responsibilites:

Carry out regular compliance monitoring activities in line with the organisation’s monitoring framework, record outcomes, and assist with following up on actions.

Keep up to date with changes in the regulatory landscape (e.g., FCA, ICO, and other regulatory bodies) and support in evaluating their relevance to the organisation’s operations.

Manage and update the operational risk register, ensuring all risks are accurately captured, periodically reviewed, and escalated when necessary.

Provide practical compliance advice to internal teams to help them understand and comply with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with colleagues in Legal & Compliance and other departments on initiatives such as policy development, staff training, and compliance reporting.

Be adaptable and willing to contribute to a range of tasks and projects in support of broader team and business objectives, reflecting the needs of a growing organisation.

Participate in external industry events or working groups (e.g., sector forums like the FLA) and share relevant insights with the internal compliance function.
You wil need:

1-3 years' previous experience in compliance, risk or regulatory

A proactive, can do attitute

Strong communication skills
