The Role

* My client is looking to recruit a Mechanical Assembly Fitter within the Production Team. This is a hands-on role for a multi skilled technician who will be responsible for building, setting up and testing of our capping presses and sealing systems.

Key Duties and Skills

* Mechanical fitting experience of bespoke machinery

* Ability to manufacture and assemble from Technical/Engineering drawings

* Understanding of Pneumatics systems

* Experience in the installation of Motors, Gearboxes, Belts, Bearings etc

* Use of various hand and power tools

* Machine tool exposure

* Competent IT Skills

* Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations

* Carry out any such tasks as required from time to time, provided they are within the competence of the postholder
