Overview:

Corrie Recruitment is looking for an experienced Ganger to lead a squad on a Substation project in Peterhead.
This is a long-term position on a major civil engineering project. The successful candidate will take responsibility for supervising a small team carrying out drainage, concrete works, and working alongside plant operators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a squad of operatives on site
• Oversee drainage works, concrete pours, and associated civil engineering tasks
• Coordinate with plant operators and ensure safe, efficient working practices
• Promote and enforce strict health & safety standards at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Ganger or Working Foreman on civil engineering projects
• Strong background in drainage, concrete, and general civils works
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Valid CSCS card (SSSTS or First Aid desirable)
• Ability to work long hours and occasional weekends

Package Includes (PAYE rates, plus holiday pay):

• £21.02/hour (£23.86 including holiday pay) - First 10 hours, Mon-Fri
• £28.02/hour (£31.82 including holiday pay) - After 10 hours, Mon-Fri
• £31.53/hour (£35.79 including holiday pay) - Weekends
• Long-term opportunity on a high-profile project
