Due to a change in their staffing structure, our client secondary school are looking to recruit a skilled education to provide support to students with additional needs.
The position has arisen to due a leave of absence and will consist of working Monday, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays initially, though there could be some flexibility for the right candidate to do more or less days per week.
Whilst working as a SEN teaching assistant, you will hold the responsibility for supporting learners with additional needs including Autism, Global Delay, Specific Learning Difficulties, HI/VI and EAL students, so previous experience in any of these fields will be highly desirable and advantageous for your ability to perform this position.
Our client school is a large, modern secondary school with excellent facilities, particularly those in the Learning Support base in which the successful SEN teaching assistant will work. The school was judged to be Good during it's most recent Ofsted inspection and the overall outcomes for students with SEN is above the national average and closing the gap between their peers due to the excellent work by the schools support teams.
