Recruitment Account Manager - Transport

Salary to £35,000 per annum + bonus.

Location: Erith

We're looking for a driven and proactive HGV Account Manager to join our team and support our key client (one of the big 4 supermarkets) based in Erith.

In this onsite role, you'll act as the main point of contact between our client and HGV Class 1 Drivers, ensuring all bookings are successfully filled and managing the full recruitment process from start to finish.

Key Details:

This is a hybrid role, based at the client's site in Erith, with some flexibility to work from home.

The position requires weekend availability, with two days off during the week.

Ideally, candidates will be based in or around Erith, Bexleyheath, Dartford, Brixton, Bromley, Woolwich, Hackney, Greenwich, or nearby areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with our client and HGV Drivers working on the contract to understand their staffing needs and requirements.
Coordinate and fill all bookings in a timely manner, ensuring that staffing levels meet the client's demands.
Manage, rota, pre-booked and ad hoc HGV Driver shifts
Plan Drivers onto shifts, manage driver hours in line with WTR.
Complete DVLA checks and manage Driver infringements
Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to include out-of-hours work on-call.About you:

Previous Transport Recruitment / Transport office / planning experience.
Driving license is essential
Computer literate (Microsoft office)
Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and by phone/email
Strong written and spoken English
Able to perform well under pressure
