Mango Solutions Recruitment are looking for a senior support worker/team leader to work with our client based in a childrens home in Worcestershire

07:00 - 22:30 (+ sleep-in)

Shift Pattern 2 on 4 off (sleep-in)

Rates/salary:

* Total salary £32,214 - £33,584 (basic inclusive of sleeps)

* Overtime hourly rate of £12.56

* Enhanced hourly rate (selective days) of £17.56

* £55 per sleep-in (TL's complete 9-11 sleeps p/m)

* Birthday off and paid (value of £200 to £250)

* £150 bonus for successfully completion probation period

* Weekend standby incentive of £40 per day

Main duties and responsibilities:

* Plan, manage, and lead the team

* Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children

* Conducting regularly key working sessions with the young people

* The requirement to sleep overnight at the home

* Work flexibly, which includes office hours, early morning and late nights, regular weekend hours & bank holidays

Experience and qualifications:

* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification (ESSENTIAL)

* Minimum of 1 year's reference able experience working with children and young people in a residential home (ESSENTIAL)

* Driving licence (ESSENTIAL)

* Level 3 qualification in children's social care (required)
