Overview:
A leading provider of electrical and mechanical services to the commercial and industrial sectors is seeking an experienced Testing & Remedial Works Electrician to join its compliance division. This role focuses on electrical inspections, producing detailed reports, and carrying out remedial works to ensure compliance with BS 7671 standards. The position requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to safety and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct periodic inspection and testing (EICR) on commercial and industrial installations.

* Diagnose faults and non-compliances, delivering effective remedial solutions.

* Produce accurate test certificates and compliance documentation.

* Liaise with clients to explain inspection findings and recommend next steps.

* Maintain detailed records of work completed, materials used, and timesheets in accordance with company procedures.

Essential Qualifications:

* City & Guilds #removed# (or equivalent) in Inspection & Testing.

* Demonstrable experience in remedial electrical works within commercial/industrial environments.

* Strong knowledge of BS 7671 wiring regulations and relevant health & safety legislation.

* Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

* Full UK driving licence, with flexibility to travel across the West Midlands.

* Willingness to work away from home when required
