Job Title: Wi-Fi Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Ubiquity Wi-Fi Engineer to optimise an existing Wi-Fi estate. The role involves a three-pronged approach: conducting an APOS survey, reviewing and adjusting current configurations, and completing a follow-up survey to demonstrate improvements. You will also be responsible for creating documentation to support future enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct an APOS survey to assess the current Wi-Fi setup.
- Review existing configurations and make necessary adjustments.
- Potentially move Access Points (APs) and reconfigure settings.
- Complete a follow-up survey to demonstrate improvements in the Wi-Fi network.
- Create detailed documentation for future enhancements.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Wi-Fi engineering and understanding of wireless protocols.
- Experience with Ubiquity and Unifi technologies.
- Ability to conduct and analyse APOS surveys.
- Strong performance testing skills.
