We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary school in the CF10 area of Cardiff, starting after Easter.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a rewarding role where you will play a key part in supporting pupils’ learning, confidence, and development.
Location: CF10, Cardiff (central location with excellent public transport links) Start Date: After Easter Contract: Full-time (part-time considered)
Your role will include:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, particularly those who may need additional help
- Leading and assisting with small group interventions in literacy and numeracy
- Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour in a positive and supportive way
- Encouraging pupil confidence, independence, and social development
We are looking for someone who: Has experience working with children (school, nursery, coaching, or similar) Is patient, adaptable, and proactive Builds strong relationships with pupils and staff Has a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning
