Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in an Ofsted-rated Good primary school? This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by supporting children with Special Educational Needs, helping them thrive academically and socially.
This role involves a blend of 1:1 support and small group interventions, working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils with SEN, including ASD and communication needs
- Providing 1:1 assistance and leading small group activities
- Implementing individual learning plans to support progress
- Encouraging positive behaviour management and emotional regulation
- Creating a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting
- A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A valid DBS and two references (or willingness to obtain these)
