Senior / Associate Town Planner - London

I'm currently partnering with a leading planning and development advisory firm in London that is looking to strengthen its team with the addition of a talented planner at Senior or Associate level.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, commercially focused team working on some of the most exciting development projects across London and the UK.

The RoleYou will play a key role in delivering planning advice across a diverse portfolio of projects, including large-scale mixed-use developments, residential schemes, commercial assets, and urban regeneration projects. The position offers real responsibility, client exposure, and the chance to contribute strategically from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing planning applications and appeals from inception to determination
• Providing clear, commercially minded planning advice to a range of clients
• Leading on stakeholder engagement, including local authorities and consultants
• Preparing planning appraisals, strategies, and supporting documentation
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members (for Associate-level candidates)

About You

• MRTPI qualified (or working towards)
• Experience within a consultancy or client-side environment
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system, particularly in London
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset
