Position : Estimator, Quotations Engineer

Location : South Yorkshire, S. Yorkshire

Hybrid : No, this role is on-site

Salary : Very negotiable but likely to be in the range of £35,000-£45,000

The role :

Taking enquiries from customers and potential customers, you will compile accurate professional quotations taking into account costs of materials, labour, equipment, logistics, energy, third party partners / suppliers and any other associated costs. You will liaise with design, production and external partners / suppliers to ensure that customer requirements and expectations are met whilst maximising efficiencies and profitability.

About You :

From a metals manufacturing or engineering services background
Qualified to HNC level with a broad range of experience covering metal manufacturing, engineering services, refurbishment projects etc
Able to read and understand engineering drawings, and to devise the best way to achieve the desired outcome for the product or service required
Engineering and manufacturing processes include metal cutting and preparation, welding and fabrication, CNC and manual machine tool manufacturing, assembly, strip and repair of components,
Whilst most of the work is from UK based customers, any experience of international business is beneficial
Able to work Monday to Friday on-site in the South Yorkshire regionKey Words : S. Yorkshire, Estimator, costs, quotations
