Vida Education are looking to appoint a passionate and committed Maths Teacher for a long-term, full-time maternity cover starting in Preston 2025.

Based at a well-regarded secondary school in Preston, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, you will take on full teaching responsibilities; delivering engaging and inspiring Maths lessons across the curriculum, while contributing to a supportive and collaborative department.

Maths Teacher Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum

Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback

Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development

Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development

Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and student engagement

Maths Teacher Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Maths at secondary level

Strong classroom management skills

Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
