Hays Education are supporting an SEN school in recruiting an Art Teacher to work with them on a long-term basis. This role is to start in September 2025 and will continue on an ongoing basis till December in the first instance. Please find details below:

• Small SEN School based in East Birmingham, a 10-minute drive from the city centre
• The school caters for children at KS4 who can't remain in mainstream due to social, emotional and mental health challenges
• Role to teach GCSE Art and Design from September - December 2025
• Responsibility for planning, teaching and assessment of all work
• Working in small class sizes of 5 - 10 pupils alongside a Teaching Assistant
• The role will be on a term time only temporary time sheet basis
• Pay will be at MPS plus SEN allowance
• Experience of working with children with social, emotional and mental health challenges is essential
• Experience or an understanding of Team Teach or other intervention techniques is desirable, but the school will provide training on this
