Prospero Teaching is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Shepton Mallet that is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment
Support pupils with their social, emotional, and academic development

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK
Relevant experience or qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, TA training) desirable but not essential
