The Role

We are seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join our dedicated team. You will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of students who thrive with a more personalised, structured, and supportive approach to learning.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact - helping students develop confidence in their literacy skills and a love for the English language, while supporting their broader social and emotional growth.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver differentiated English lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN

Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment

Assess and track student progress, adapting strategies to meet individual needs

Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider SEN team

Participate in EHCP reviews and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Encourage creativity, resilience, and independence in all learners

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) - NQTs/ECTs welcome to apply

Experienced or interested in working with children with SEN

Patient, compassionate, and adaptable in approach

Confident in using creative teaching methods and differentiated resources

Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
