ROLE:                    Mechanical Design Engineer
                               
LOCATION:           Clitheroe
 
SALARY:               Circa £45'000 dependant on experience plus bonus scheme (£5'000 to £7'000 annually)
 
Growing as a global engineering manufacturer throughout UK, Europe and US. They have established and continue to build a leading reputation for quality and reliability serving Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, Chemical and High Value Industrial industries.
 
This growth business leads a group of 4 successful brands with a combined global turnover of $140 million.
 
We are currently searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team supporting the customer experience globally from start to finish. A mix of Mechanical Design and Project Engineering Management exposure is ideal.
 
Mechanical Design Engineer key skills:

Hands on approach is absolutely key.
Design engineering experience, managing projects for dry and solid materials is key.
Customer exposure and experience on site.
Thorough admin and reporting skills.
Ideally with some exposure product movement or handling. (Could be from the Food/ waste recycling/ confectionery / pharmaceutical /Paint/Bakery or Building industry.)
3D CAD (Solidworks). 
Mechanical Design Engineer attributes:

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter, with an interest in manufacturing or an interest of working within a technical environment.
Educated to degree level with mechanical engineering degree.
Ability to balance many tasks at the same time. Time management is key.
Positive attitude and manner.
Excellent communicator to develop and build customer relationship ensure repeat custom.
Positive attitude working as a team and supporting colleagues.
Working with and supporting cross departmental - design, engineers, purchasing, shop floor.
