We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school community in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the development and learning of children in a vibrant and inclusive environment.

About the Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide tailored support to pupils, helping to foster a positive and engaging learning experience for all children. You will support individuals and small groups both inside and outside the classroom and play a key role in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those with additional needs
  • Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom displays
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive social interactions
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals
  • Contribute to the school’s wider community and enrichment activities
