✅ Must Haves:
✅ Proven background in maintenance engineering (electrical and/or mechanical)
✅ Experience within a manufacturing environment
✅ Ability to fault find and diagnose both electrical and mechanical issues
✅ Confident working independently and planning maintenance schedules
✅ Experience with motors, drives, PLCs, pneumatics, and automation systems
⏰ Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (with some flexibility for occasional out-of-hours work)

Join a leading UK manufacturer of upholstered bed frames and mattresses at their modern facility in Leeds. As part of an expanding operation, you'll play a key role in shaping and developing the site's maintenance function — ensuring all machinery runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of machinery (cutting, sewing, and packing systems).
*
Develop and improve preventative maintenance schedules.
*
Support machinery installations, upgrades, and relocations.
*
Manage stock, spare parts, and maintenance records.
*
Contribute to continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
*
Ensure all activities meet health, safety, and compliance standards.
✨ Desirable Extras:
*
18th Edition or equivalent electrical qualification
*
Experience with textile or packaging machinery
*
CMMS knowledge
*
Basic fabrication/welding ability
