Vision Teaching is proud to be working in partnership with a local authority in Redbridge to recruit an experienced SEMH Advisory Teacher for the summer term.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated professional to support both primary and secondary schools, helping to enhance provision for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role

As an SEMH Advisory Teacher, you will work closely with school leaders, SENCOs, and teaching teams to provide specialist guidance and practical support. Your expertise will help schools develop effective strategies, strengthen inclusive practice, and improve outcomes for pupils with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver expert advice and tailored support to a range of schools

* Demonstrate effective SEMH strategies within classroom environments

* Support staff in developing behaviour management and inclusive approaches

* Lead training sessions and workshops for school staff

* Contribute to pupil assessments, planning, and review processes

* Liaise with external professionals and agencies where appropriate

About You

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)

* Have substantial experience supporting children and young people with SEMH needs at both Primary and Secondary level

* Demonstrate a strong record of improving outcomes for pupils with additional needs

* Have experience in primary and/or secondary settings

* Possess excellent communication and coaching skills

* Build strong, professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
