Job Title: Electrical Shift Engineer
Location: Oxford Street, London
Salary: £44,000 per annum
Working Hours: 4 On, 4 Off - Days & Nights (7:00am-7:00pm / 7:00pm-7:00am)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join a flagship, high-profile retail site on Oxford Street.

Working as part of a large on-site engineering team (27 engineers at full capacity), you will join a structured shift team of 6, including a Shift Manager, Shift Leader, 2 Technicians, a Fabric Engineer, and an Improver.

This is a technically engaging role within a busy, multi-plant commercial environment offering excellent overtime potential and long-term progression.

Your duties will include:
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical systems.
• Maintaining lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and associated infrastructure.
• Supporting mechanical plant where required within a multi-skilled team.
• Responding to faults and breakdowns within a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety and statutory compliance requirements.
• Working closely with the wider engineering team to maintain operational performance across the site.

Shift Pattern:
• 4 On, 4 Off
• Rotating Days & Nights
• 7:00am-7:00pm / 7:00pm-7:00am

Ideal Candidate:
• Qualified Electrical Engineer (Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience within commercial or retail building services environments.
• Strong fault-finding and reactive maintenance skills.
• Comfortable working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern including nights.
• Team-oriented with a proactive and professional approach.
