The Opportunity

The Cambridge office is expanding rapidly, and they are looking for a talented Private Client Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees, and partnerships, delivering bespoke tax planning and advisory services.This hybrid role requires in-office collaboration three days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, delivering strategic tax advice
  • Lead and review self-assessment tax returns with precision and compliance
  • Advise on income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and more
  • Collaborate across departments to provide holistic client solutions
  • Build and nurture client relationships, identifying growth opportunities
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of learning

To be successful

  • ATT, CTA, or equivalent qualification in tax/accounting
  • Proven experience managing private client tax portfolios
  • Trust and partnership experience (rural client exposure a plus)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and a client-first mindset
  • Ability to spot and develop new business opportunities
  • Adaptability to evolving tax legislation
