The Role

As a Science ECT, you will teach across Key Stage 3 and your preferred science subject at Key Stage 4, with opportunities to observe and potentially assist with A-Level groups during your induction year. You'll be supported every step of the way with a structured and tailored two-year ECT programme.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering engaging, concept-rich science lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking

Making full use of lab-based learning, ICT tools, and differentiated resources

*

Taking part in departmental CPD, INSET days, and collaborative curriculum planning

*

Supporting extracurricular activities including science fairs, STEM clubs, or ecology projects

*

Contributing to the school's inclusive ethos and student wellbeing initiatives

Ideal Candidate

A Science degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Natural Sciences

*

Currently completing a PGCE or SCITT, on track to receive QTS by July 2025
