Ambitek is currently recruiting for a CNC Saw & Drill Operator to join our client's well-established structural steel fabrication facility in Winsford. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone with experience in structural steel and CNC machine operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Voortman CNC saw & drill lines for structural steel processing.

*

Load and unload steel sections using overhead cranes and lifting equipment.

*

Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machines.

*

Read and interpret fabrication drawings and job specifications.

*

Ensure parts are cut and drilled accurately, within tolerance.

*

Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in the work area.

Requirements:

*

Experience operating a Voortman CNC machine (preferred but not essential - training may be provided).

*

Proven background in structural steel fabrication is essential.

*

Ability to read and work from technical drawings.

*

Reliable, punctual, and capable of working with minimal supervision.

*

Overhead crane experience desirable.

Working Hours:

*

Monday to Thursday: 07:45 - 16:45

*

Friday: 07:45 - 12:45

*

Overtime available after 39 hours at £26.78/hr
