About the Role
In our home, being a Care Assistant is more than just a job. You will build relationships, bring warmth to residents' days, and be there in the moments that matter. You will follow individual care plans, provide practical support, and ensure each resident experiences dignity, independence, and a sense of purpose.

You will be part of a compassionate team that works together like family, supporting residents across residential, nursing, dementia, and respite services.

What We Are Looking For
You do not need previous care experience to apply. Whether you are new to the care sector or have experience, what matters most is a genuine passion for helping others. You are kind, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care.

About You
You bring integrity, empathy, and teamwork into everything you do. You are motivated by making a difference in the lives of older people, willing to learn, and ready to grow your career. Above all, you are approachable, respectful, and committed to creating a positive and supportive environment for residents and colleagues alike.

Location
Lammermuir House Care Home, located in the charming seaside town of Dunbar, provides high-quality care for up to 48 residents within a purpose-built, modern facility. With stunning views over the Firth of Forth and just minutes from local shops, cafés, and public transport, our home offers a unique and inspiring place to work. Joining our team means working in a supportive environment where your skills are valued, development is encouraged, and your care has a real impact on the lives of our residents.

If you are ready to deliver compassionate, person-centred care and make a meaningful difference every day, we would love to hear from you.
