Adult Support Worker - Residential Care & Social Care Settings

Location: Essex & Suffolk (Various Locations)

Shift Pattern: Flexible - your minimum availability will need to be 2-3 shifts per week
Pay: Competitive hourly rates - Weekly pay (hourly rate shown is via umbrella)

Are you an experienced Adult Support Worker looking for flexible work across Essex or Suffolk?

We're recruiting for passionate and reliable Adult Support Workers to join our team, supporting adults with a range of needs including learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities. Work is available across a variety of residential homes and social care settings.

Whether you're looking for occasional shifts, longer block bookings, or a full-time schedule — we want to hear from you!

🔍 Key Responsibilities

Providing personal care, emotional support, and daily living assistance

*

Promoting independence, choice, and dignity for service users

*

Supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs

*

Engaging in activities and encouraging community involvement

*

Managing challenging behaviours professionally and compassionately

*

Following care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding protocols

*

Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns promptly

✅ Requirements

*

Minimum 6 months' experience in adult social care or residential settings

*

Confident supporting adults with LD, autism, or mental health conditions

*

Willingness to work a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week

*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

*

Up-to-date mandatory training (or willing to complete)

*

Strong communication and teamwork skills

*

Driving licence desirable (not essential, depends on location)
