ATTENTION: Caregivers ** DSP ** Direct Support Professionals

Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of others? We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Caregivers to join our team of Direct Support Professionals (DSP).

Our adult residential facility provides support to individuals who need assistance with daily living due to an intellectual, developmental or cognitive disabilities. Our team provides direct care and supervision to four (4) clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a home / residential setting. Our goal is to help them with their daily living activities and empowering them to be their best!

Duties include:

• Act as a role model and encourage positive interactions with others.
• Work with individuals to encourage positive choices
• Become familiar with the program plan for each individual in the facility.
• Understand and assist individuals in exercises designed to improve or maintain, mobility range of motion and self-help skills.
• Assist individuals in all areas of grooming and personal hygiene skills.
• Assist in medication administration and monitoring and ensure proper documentation of such.
• Assist in supervision of meal preparation and housekeeping, as assigned.
• Participate in recreational activities in a variety of settings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1 year caregiving experience preferred
• CPR/First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire (company paid)
• DSP 1 Certification within 12 months (company paid)
• CPI Certification (company paid)
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks, including fingerprinting, physical, TB screening
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and move up to 100 lbs
• Current DSP 1 / DSP 2 Certifications a ++++
• Behavior technician experiences a ++++

We have flexible schedules and OVERTIME OPPORTUNITIES

• AM Shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• PM Shifts: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Overnights (NOC): 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Week Days & Weekends
• On Call (OC), Overtime (OT), Double Time (DT) available

• $17.00 - $19.00 per hour (depending on certifications and experience)
