Location: Secondary School, Macclesfield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

About the Role:

Deliver engaging lessons in your specialist subject to secondary school students

Plan inclusive, creative sessions that support academic progress

Promote a positive and respectful classroom culture

Work closely with a collaborative teaching and pastoral team

Take part in ongoing professional development and receive mentoring

Opportunity to work toward Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), if not yet qualified

Ideal for Candidates Who Are:

Graduates with an interest in teaching or applying for teacher training

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking for their first or second post

Cover Supervisors or unqualified teachers seeking a transition into teaching

PGCE applicants who want hands-on classroom experience beforehand

Aspiring educators interested in School Direct, PGCE with QTS, or other training routes

What We're Looking For:

A degree in any subject area (QTS welcomed but not required)

A genuine passion for teaching and working with young people

Confidence and strong communication skills in a classroom setting

A proactive, enthusiastic approach to education and teamwork

Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and student wellbeing

A desire to grow professionally and contribute to school life

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
