We're hiring a Mechanical Fitter to join a high-performing maintenance team at a large, industry-leading site. Whether you're experienced and ready to lead, or early in your career and eager to learn, there's a place for you here.

🛠 The Role

*

Carry out planned maintenance, breakdown response, and urgent repairs

*

Work on granulators, crushers, conveyors, hydraulics and more

*

Support or lead daily maintenance tasks, depending on experience

*

Monitor equipment, report faults, and ensure smooth shift handovers

*

Maintain a safe, tidy workspace and complete relevant documentation

👷 What We're Looking For

*

Mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or similar setting

*

MIG welding skills and/or forklift licence a plus (training available)

*

Good communicator with strong fault-finding ability

*

Comfortable using Excel and Outlook

*

Leadership or mentoring experience (for higher end of salary band)

⏱ Shifts

*

4on 4off (40.25 hour week)

*

Overtime available
